Just a color

Guys, I’m sick of racism.

And when I say racism I don’t mean black vs. white because the newest thing is everyone vs. white, because all white people are jerks and discriminate against blacks. Apparently.

It. Is. Just. A. Color.

noraco

It’s like your hair. You don’t see blondes dissing on people with black hair and being called racist.

The fact of the matter is, we all came from the some place. Our ancestors all had the same color skin, way back in Israel.  The skin color variations come from the geographic locations that people went to after God scattered the people when they tried to build the Tower of Babel.

People who live closer to the equator, and thus have more sun time, have darker skin to protect them from the sunlight. People farther north have lighter skin because of less sunlight and needing less protection.

It is NOT God saying that people with darker skin are inferior, or that white people have special privileges.

The situation in Ferguson is a perfect example of racism against whites. Because if you think about, if a black officer had shot a black kid, it would’ve just been another case file. Or if the officer was Hispanic or Asian. But since the officer was white, it’s automatically discrimination and racism, which is ridiculous.

The phrase “All men are created equal” likes to be quoted, but doesn’t like to be practiced. It’s like people enjoy saying it to feel good about themselves and then talk about white power or discrimination against blacks.

And the darn media loves the play all of this up to get people angry. However, if we continue on this path, it’ll lead us to another civil war. Just look at the riots and violence in Ferguson. Do we really want that? Because the last one was destructive enough, and they didn’t have the technology we do today.

I beg you, all of you, to stop thinking about people in terms of their skin color and instead about their character. There are good and bad white people. There are good and bad black people. There is no stereotype that does every person justice.

What are your thoughts on racism?

God Loves Gays

…..Just not their behavior.

Same with murders, pedophiles, thieves and adulterers. He loves everyone.

He hates the sin.

That is the point I would like to make immediately. I do NOT hate homosexuals. I hate the sin.

I know I am not perfect, please do not accuse me of being a hypocrite. I sin too.

But there’s a widespread rumor that “Jesus never said anything about homosexuality” so it’s “not a sin” and I would like to debunk this insane myth.

First of all, the Old Testament lists homosexual behavior as one of the main reasons why Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. Just because it was the Old Testament doesn’t mean the sin isn’t still real.

Also in the Old Testament, God defines homosexuality as sexually immoral behavior, which comes up multiple times in the New Testament.

Now as far as New Testament goes;

Now as far as New Testament goes;

“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

That’s 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

In Matthew 15, Jesus talks about clean and unclean behavior. Verse 19 and the beginning of verse 20 say, “For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what make a man “unclean’. ”

Romans 1:27 says, “In the same way the men also abandoned their natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.”

Notice how it says “natural relations with women” which brings me to my next point.

Homosexuals were not born that way.

I know, it’s a nice excuse, but it doesn’t work like that. True, we are all born with a certain sin nature that we are prone to, but you can choose whether or not to act on it. Homosexuality is a learned sin like any other.

In the same way you can argue that murderers, pedophiles, and rapists were ‘born that way’ so they can’t help but do those things, right?

Wrong. You have free will. Use it to follow something good.

Another argument that homosexuals cry out is that their behavior is not hurting anyone else.

This is also wrong, as homosexual behavior destroys the sanctity of marriage. It is constantly working against traditional and Christian family values, making sinful behavior an acceptable alternative.

Then think of the children. Recent studies show that a child thrives best in a household with both a mother and father. Not two moms. Not two dads. They need both male and female role models to fill those important places in their lives.

Here’s a good study on it: http://www.citizenlink.com/2010/06/17/30-years-of-research-that-tells-us-a-child-deserves-a-mother-and-a-father/

I would like to reiterate that God loves homosexuals. He just hates the homosexuality. You can repent from any sin, you are not stuck in a lifestyle for the rest of your life.

I realize a lot of people will disagree with me, and I would just please ask for you to be polite in the comments. I’m not being judgmental or hateful, and I sincerely hope I did not come across that way in my writing.

I love you, dear readers!

Feminism and Christianity

It doesn’t work.

You cannot call yourself a Christian and a Feminist at the same time, not in today’s society. Once upon a time feminism may have been about the right for women to vote or to work but not anymore.

So why doesn’t feminism mesh with Christianity? Let’s see what some of the leading figures of modern feminism have to say…

” It is important for us to encourage women to leave their husbands and not to live individually with men… All of history must be re-written in terms of oppression of women. We must go back to ancient female religions like witchcraft” – The Declaration of Feminism , November 1971.

……. Witchcraft….. How lovely.

“God is going to change. We women… will change the world so much that He won’t fit any-more.” – Naomi Goldenberg, Changing of the Gods: Feminism and the End of Traditional Religions (Quoted at beginning of From Father God to Mother Earth)

I didn’t realize God changed. Did you? Oh, what was that? Riiiight, it says in the Bible that God is un-changing. Awesome. God: 1 Feminists: 0

“By the year 2000 we will, I hope, raise our children to believe in human potential, not God” – Gloria Steinem, editor of ‘MS’ magazine.

What do you think is more trustworthy? A never-changing, all-powerful God who cares about you and loves you? Or the “potential” of your crazy neighbor down the street who owns five dozen cats? Or maybe you want to believe in the “potential” of all those amazing politicians….

“No women should be authorized to stay at home and raise her children. Women should not have that choice, because if there is such a choice, too many women will make that one” (Feminist pioneer Simone de Beauvoir, Saturday Review, June 14, 1975).

Okay, this one gets me, because ten years from now I want to be at home, taking care of my first baby, not having to worry about work and who’s taking care of my little girl or boy. Do not take away my rights to take care of my future children at home.

“We can’t destroy the inequities between men and women until we destroy marriage. ” — [Robin Morgan, “Sisterhood Is Powerful,” (ed), 1970, p. 537]

Destroy marriage…… Destroy marriage…. that sounds pleasant. Doesn’t that sound pleasant all you women who are married or want to get married? This woman was insane….

“The most merciful thing a large family can do to one of its infant members is to kill it” -Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, in Women and the New Rage, p.67

Whoa. Whoa. That’s murder no matter how you spin it.

“Marriage has existed for the benefit of men; and has been a legally sanctioned method of control over women… We must work to destroy it. The end of the institution of marriage is a necessary condition for the liberation of women. Therefore it is important for us to encourage women to leave their husbands and not to live individually with men.” – The Declaration of Feminism , November 1971

Ladies, do you feel that marriage only benefits men? Because I’m not so sure. I mean, I’m not married, but I cannot wait until I get to marry the love of my life and live with him. And he’s going to take care of me in a way that I could not take care of myself. I’ll be happy and cherished and loved and I can’t think of a better life I will benefit greatly from marrying him.

I’m going to stop with the quotes there and say that no matter what, feminism is NOT the answer. God is. Whatever evil there is in these areas cannot be fought with feminism. When I see feminism I see the devil working against God, against women, against children, and against the sanctity of marriage. It breaks my heat to know that so many women buy into this.

So please, do not tell me that you are a feminist and a Christian. It doesn’t make sense.

Pro-Woman, Anti-Feminist

“Men should not hold doors open for women, we can take care of ourselves. That is, as long as we make these same men pay for our morning-after pill and abortions after we’re irresponsible about our personal lives.”

I am disgusted with my fellow women, especially with these ridiculous ads going on the radio saying one politician or another doesn’t support women’s rights.

Please.

I’m all for women’s rights, trust me. Yeah we can work, we can vote. But I’m sorry, men should not be catering to us.

Just kidding, not sorry.

For one thing, that’s completely contradictory to the whole feminist thing. They want to be superior to men, but at the same time they still want men to care of them, just in different ways.

Even if you’re just mildly feminist, for abortion privileges and stuff, it’s stupid.

Without getting into abortion too much, which is in fact murder, if you were irresponsible enough to get yourself pregnant, then deal with the consequences. No one should have to fund your abortion, or the morning-after pill which is just as bad as abortion since you take it after conception.

Another point is the insane idea that women don’t make as much money as men in the workforce. By the way, this is not true. The statistics they give are typically in a specific job or as nation, where less women work. They’re not giving you hourly wages or salaries, they’re giving you collective totals to make you buy into the lie.

A different, more subtle aspect of the feminist movement is taking place in the churches. Women should not be taking leading roles in the church. It is against biblical principles. The women aren’t the only ones at fault however. Men need to step up and take their places in the church.

The men should be the pastors, the worship leaders, the ones who organize the events, much more than women. I’m not saying women should fade into the background, but we need to remember our roles.

As the title says, I’m absolutely pro-woman. Women are awesome. But I’m so very anti-feminist.

Before I get a bunch of hate comments or whatever, these are my opinions. (Besides the abortion thing. That’s murder. It’s a sin. It’s evil. That’s a fact.)

Let me know what you think about the super-feminism movement and women’s roles in the church.
